Ryan graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Sound Recording Technology and, in addition to being a gifted engineer, is a talented multi-instrumentalist and a working musician who plays with his band, Crypt Trip.

Kent has over 16 years of experience as a recording and mixing engineer and is well known in the music community. He learned the tried and true, classic analog methods of recording but is also a master with Pro Tools and when it comes to drum sounds, there is no one better.

Kent has been playing trombone and guitar professionally for 35 years. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music, in Jazz Studies / Performance from the College of Music at the University of North Texas. He has worked with a wide range of artists and on many different projects - including Cee Lo Green, Julian Lennon, Hank Thompson, Reverend Horton Heat, Forever the Sickest Kids, Green River Ordinance and co-engineered and mixed the Grammy nominated 2001 Brave Combo album, "Kick Ass Polkas."

While teaching Dallas high school seniors about economics and entrepreneurship, Michael decided to take his own advice to “do what you love,” to become the entrepreneur he had encouraged so many young people to be. In forming the company, Root Down, to take the helm of Crystal Clear Sound, Michael has realized his life-long vision of reconciling his artistic and business personas. A performing percussionist and drummer for over 35 years, he met his long-time business and music associate Kent Stump at the University of North Texas in 1985 as freshmen jazz studies majors. The two form both the core of the internationally renowned heavy-fuzz trio Wo Fat (Small Stone Records, Ripple Records) and are the managing partners of Crystal Clear Sound.
